Happy Holidays!

Wow, summer and holidays are here!

It's been a great year! But it's time to have some rest and enjoy the holidays with your family and friends.

Remember to revise English during the summer with the dossiers and the links from the blog. And you can write comments too. We love reading them!

We will see you in September, with loaded batteries!

Make the most of the summer!

Ocean Animals Project

It's the last week of this school year 2012-2013!

But we are still doing many interesting things!

The students of 5th level have presented a project this week. It's a Power Point project about Ocean Animals they have done in groups of 3.

They chose an ocean animal and they looked for information about it. This week they have presented the projects in front of the class and they are great!

Here you can see some images:

Here you can give a look at some of the Power Points:

We hope that you like them!

Animal descriptions

Pupils of 3rd Grade have been working on descriptions of animals. We learnt these sentences to make our texts (oral and written):

- It's ...  big/small, tall/short, fast/slow...

- It's ...  yellow, green, brown, black, white,...

- It has got ... 2 legs, 4 legs, 2 arms, a long neck, a short tail, claws, a big body, 2 wings, 2 horns, 2 ears, ...

- It can ... / It can't ...   fly, swim, run, walk, jump, hunt,....

- It eats ...   fruit, fish, meat, plants, grass, insects, leaves,...

After some oral practice, we wrote compositions. We made animal descriptions and our classmates had to guess them:

Cristina brought this funny book from the Natural History Museum, in London...

...and we decided to create a similar one:

We used our books to play a guessing game in pairs:

        Has it got...?
           Yes, it has.
           No, it hasn't.

Ocean Animals Project

Hello everyone! How are you?

It's only 3 weeks until the end of this school year... time flies!

But we are still working and doing lots of things. With 5th grade we are learning about ocean animals.

The students have to work in groups and do a Power Point presentation in class about one sea animal.

Here there is an example you can watch at home and it can help you to get ideas.

I hope that you find it useful.

What do you think? You can write comments!

See you at school! Goodbye!
