Maisy Fun Club (P3, P4 and P5)

Hello everybody!

Today we want to introduce you to: Maisy!
Maisy is a mouse who likes doing lots of things. She's got many friends to play with.

Maisy the mouse is the perfect cartoon series to learn and practise English in a natural way. It's fantastic for little children. It's very visual and it's easy to follow.

Maisy's got a cool, funny and interesting website for the little children.

There are different sections.

Old McDonald had a farm (P4)

Good morning!

It's monday! We start a new week.

How do you feel? Energetic? Sleepy? Happy?

The little boys and girls of P4 are learning the farm animals and we are having fun with the classic song Old McDonald from Super Simple Songs.

Check the video here:

We also like this video to learn how the animals sound. In English the onomatopoeies of the animals' sounds are different than in Spanish or Catalan. For example, a cock in Spanish would say: Ki Ki Ri Kiiiii and in English it says Cock-A-Doodle-Doo. Funny, isn't it?

Check this video to learn more:

Carnival Masks English taller (5th and 6th grade)

Hello boys and girls!

How are you?

Carnival is coming and we are getting in the mood. In Cicle Superior we are doing this English "taller" where we learn how to make a real plaster masks. Then we draw a nice design and we paint it on our mask.

It's really funny although it's a bit messy (did I say a bit?) but we have a good time working in pairs, sharing all the stuff and seeing the results.

Here you can see some images of the children in the making process:
