Dora and Friends

Hello everyone!

This is a post for those of you who enjoyed watching Dora the Explorer. You may know that Dora has grown up, is now a pre-teen and has a new group of friends to go on city adventures.

If you want to watch new episodes of Dora, who speaks English and Spanish, visit the website below. It is a good opportunity for you to watch cartoons in English, something difficult to do here in our country... We are sure you'll like them!

What's in the fridge? (6th grade)

Hello!

Today I want to suggest another activity for the 6th grade students to practise the use of there is and there are with countable and uncountable nouns.

Here's an image of the food inside a fridge. I want you to write 2 sentences in the comments section: one for countable food and one for uncountable food. It can be affirmative or negative.

If the sentences are correct, you will have a positive mark. Come on, let's do it!

Wild animals and ELMER, the elephant (P5)

Hello little children!

In P5 we love wild animals. We like animals that live in the jungle and also animals that animals that we can go and visit at the zoo.

Monkeys are one of the children's favourites. But also elephants. This week we listened to the story of Elmer the Elephant.

Elmer is a different elephant. He's a patchwork elephant that feels the other laugh at him because of his colours.

One day he leaves the jungle... finds a bush full of grey berries and shakes it... and all the berries fall on the ground. And then...

What will Elmer do with the berries? Eat them? Watch the video to see what happens:

Countable / Uncountable (6th grade)

Hello boys and girls!

Let's talk about...

Yes, that's right! Countable nouns means that you can count them, for example: apples, lemons, cakes, bottles, pencils, boys, girls.... Uncountable nouns are the ones you can't count, for example: rice, sugar, salt, water, butter, etc...

Here are some activities that are very good to help you revise and practise all this. Click on the following links:
