Etwinning project

Hello!

Today we would like to talk you about Etwinning:

Etwinning is an education platform in Europe to create projects among schools.

This year we are doing a project in 5th and 6th grades. The project is called "Cultural Exchange" and we want our students to share information in English with other schools.

Our 5th grades are paired with a school in (Diyarbakir) Turkey and our 6th grade students are paired with a school in Alkmaar (The Netherlands).

During the first term we have exchanged Power Points to introduce ourselves, our country, town and school.

The most recent task is sharing questions and answers in video format.

Here's a video compilation, so you can see and understand what we are doing. The students have loved this activity:

Cooking projects (6th grade)

 Hello boys and girls!

How was the weekend? Did you enjoy the sun?

Well, it's Monday and we are full of energy!

Last week the students of 6th grade presented their Cooking Projects in class. In groups of 3 or 4 they prepared a recipe (could be invented) and they wrote the INGREDIENTS, the KITCHEN TOOLS and the PROCESS in English and presented it in class using the digital screen. Some of the groups brought the food to class. It was a funny and YUMMY project!

Here are some pictures of the presentations:

Project: Our transport for the future (4th Grade)

Hello everybody, and happy new year!!!

Let's start this second term by remembering some work you did last December.

Pupils of 4th Grade made a project in groups. They had to invent and describe one transport for the future.

First, in groups, they had to think and decide how their transport was going to be:
        • Is it public or private?
        • Is it for people or for goods?
        • Does it travel on land, on water or in the air?
        • Does it cause noise pollution or air pollution?
        • Number of wheels.
        • Colour, size, name,...

Once they had the idea, they drew a picture of their transport and wrote a description of it.

Finally, each group explained their project to the classmates and answered their questions.

These are the final projects, congratulations for your work!
