We're going on a bear hunt in the class! (P5)

Hello boys and girls!

We like the story "We're going on a bear hunt" a lot.

First we acted out the story in the playground. This time we played the story in class.

We're going on a bear hunt, we're gonna catch a big one. What a beautiful day. We're not scared!

Grass! Long wavy grass! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Swishy Swasy, Swishy, Swashy...

A river! A deep, cold river! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Splash, Splosh, Splash, Splosh...

Mud! Thick oozy mud! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Squelch, squerch, squelch, squerch...

A forest! A big dark forest! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Stumble, trip, stumble, trip...

A snowstorm! A swirling whirling snowstorm! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
hooo wooo hoooo woooo...

A cave! A narrow gloomy cave! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe... WHAT'S THAT?

One shiny wet nose, two big furry eyes, two big goggly eyes... it's a BEAR! Come on, let's go back home! Let's get into bed!

We're not going on a bear hunt again!!!

Lyrics Training (Roar by Katy Perry)

Hello!

How are you today boys and girls? It seems it's going to rain, don't you think?

Well, we would like to present you this fantastic website. It's called LYRICS TRAINING. You can practise the lyrics of many songs.

You have to look for a song and then choose your level: beginner, intermediate or expert. You listen to the song and you have to write the missing words. Can you do that?

Let's start with the Katy Perry song ROAR that we practised in class. Tell me in the comments section how good you are! :D

WANTED (dead or alive...)

Hello art-lovers!

We have already started with our Arts&Crafts workshops in English! It's been great! The first activity we have done this year with Cicle Mitjà consists of drawing PORTRAITS. But, in a funny way! Pupils have drawn themselves as if they were bandits from the Fart West. They have given themselves a false name and established a reward. Do you want to see the results? Can you guess who they are?

ARTISTS:
- 3rd A: Alex, Ana Isabel, Abril, Adam, Pol and Norbert.
- 3rd B: Paula, Lucas, Miguel, Lucia and Hellen.
- 4th A: Kilia, Marta, Àlex, Carlos, Alba and Cristina.
- 4th B: Jonathan, Andrea, Sergi, Raquel and Judith.

Places in a town (6th grade)

Hi!

How's the week going? The weekend is almost here, I know.

We are practising the town and places vocabulary. Today we watched some interesting pictures in class of different hotels, theatres, aquariums, fun fairs, etc... from all over the world.

Here are some activities to practise different things related to places in a town. Some are easy and some are a bit more complicated, but it's always good to improve.

Come on, try and tell me how it went in the comments section!

We're going on a BEAR hunt!

Hello!

The boys and girls of P5 are looking for bears around school!

We explained this story in class. We liked it a lot!

The boys and girls also participated singing the song of the story:

We're going on a bear hunt,
we're gonna catch a big one.
What a beautiful day!
We're not scared!

We also went to the playground and acted the story out. We imagined we walked through grass, a river, mud, a forest, a snowstorm and... into a cave! And we had to run back to the class because a big BEAR was chasing us!

Watch the video and enjoy the story again!

Ordinal Numbers (5th and 6th grade)

Good morning!

How are you all?

Ok, here's an activity for the Cicle Superior students (and for anyone who wants to learn more). It's about ordinal numbers and how they're written in English.

Remember that in English, when we say the DATE, we have to use ordinal numbers. Ex/ The first of May, the eleventh of July...

This activity is a good way to revise and make you more confident when it comes to say the date.

Do it and tell me how it went in the comments section.

As I know that you liked it, here's a lyrics video. Easy to sing and follow, come on, let me hear you roarrrr!

Will you practise the song for the next day?

Bye!
