The little boys and girls of P4 are learning the farm animals and we are having fun with the classic song Old McDonald from Super Simple Songs.

We also like this video to learn how the animals sound. In English the onomatopoeies of the animals' sounds are different than in Spanish or Catalan. For example, a cock in Spanish would say: Ki Ki Ri Kiiiii and in English it says Cock-A-Doodle-Doo. Funny, isn't it?

Animal sounds is one of my favorite lessons! I think it's so fun to learn what different animals say in English and other languages.
For example, did you know that in Japan, a frog says, "Geiru, geiru," but in English, it says, "Ribbit, ribbit"? What does a frog say where you live?
