THE ENGLISH BLOG'S MASCOT

HELLO!

Don't you think there's something missing in our blog? Of course, we don't have a MASCOT!

We think it's time to choose a mascot for our English Blog.

It has to be original, funny and English.

Do you want to participate?

Then, invent, draw and colour your mascot in a DIN A4. Give it to Cristina or Michael before 15th November.

We will make an exhibition with all the pictures and then we will choose the best one!

The winner mascot will be the blog's image and everybody will see it.

Come on, think and start drawing! :D

Special guest (6th grade)

Hello boys and girls!

How are you?

Yesterday was a great day. We had guest at school. His name is Ryan and he's a Malasian boy who is Michael and Cristina's friend.

He has been travelling around the world and he stopped in Barcelona and made a visit in our school so students could meet him and talk to him in English.

The students had prepared many questions and asked them all to Ryan who was happy to answer all of them. The boys and girls were very interested in learning more about the countries Ryan had visited.

Now Ryan is flying back home so we want to wish him a safe flight, good luck and thanks for coming!

To Be (6th grade)

Hello 6th graders!

Have you got lots of plans for the weekend? I hope so!

Ok, it's always good to revise verb TO BE. Remember that verb to be in catalan is "ser o estar".

Here's a good practice of two activities where you have to WRITE the correct form of verb to be. Do it and let me know how easy or difficult it was for you.

Remember that Ryan is coming on Monday. Prepare your questions! ;-)
Have a happy weekend!

Remember that during the weekend you can keep on practising English at home! ;-)

As in 5th grade we are learning about Technology, here are three activities to learn and review about this topic. I'm sure it's going to be easy for you.

We're going on a bear hunt in the class! (P5)

Hello boys and girls!

We like the story "We're going on a bear hunt" a lot.

First we acted out the story in the playground. This time we played the story in class.

We're going on a bear hunt, we're gonna catch a big one. What a beautiful day. We're not scared!

Grass! Long wavy grass! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Swishy Swasy, Swishy, Swashy...

A river! A deep, cold river! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Splash, Splosh, Splash, Splosh...

Mud! Thick oozy mud! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Squelch, squerch, squelch, squerch...

A forest! A big dark forest! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
Stumble, trip, stumble, trip...

A snowstorm! A swirling whirling snowstorm! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!
hooo wooo hoooo woooo...

A cave! A narrow gloomy cave! We can't go over it, we can't go under it. Oh no! We've got to go through it!tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe... WHAT'S THAT?

One shiny wet nose, two big furry eyes, two big goggly eyes... it's a BEAR! Come on, let's go back home! Let's get into bed!

We're not going on a bear hunt again!!!
