Arts & Crafts: The Very Hungry Caterpillar (1st and 2nd)

Hello, everyone!

We are the pupils of 1st and 2nd grade and this is our version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, one popular English book that we are told in Infant Education and in First Cycle, and reminds us that Spring is coming...

This is a group-work activity, done in the Arts and Crafts lesson:

This is the Very Hungry Caterpillar. He was so hungry, that on Monday he ate through some apples...

But, he was still hungry. So on Tuesday, he ate through some pears...

But he was still hungry. So on Wednesday, he ate through some plums...

But he was still hungry. So on Thursday, he ate through some strawberries...

But, he was still hungry. So on Friday he ate through some oranges. But, he was still hungry! So, on Saturday, he ate through a piece of cake, a bun, sausages, a lollipop, etc.

And then, poor Caterpillar, he had stomachache... So, on Sunday, he ate through one green leave. Mmmmm...he felt much better then... :)

Numbers 1-10 (P3 and P4)

Hello little children!

How are you? Happy? Sad? Sleepy? Hungry?

The P3 and P4 children are learning the numbers from 1 to 10. And they do it really well!

In the class we have many songs, videos and games to practise the numbers.

The other day we watched Maisy's train episode, where Maisy is driving a train full of animals. It's the perfect chance to practise the counting.

Here are two other videos that the children like very much. You can watch at home and ask them to sing, centering the attention in the numbers:

Cooking projects (6th grade)

 Hello boys and girls!

How was the weekend? Did you enjoy the sun?

Well, it's Monday and we are full of energy!

Last week the students of 6th grade presented their Cooking Projects in class. In groups of 3 or 4 they prepared a recipe (could be invented) and they wrote the INGREDIENTS, the KITCHEN TOOLS and the PROCESS in English and presented it in class using the digital screen. Some of the groups brought the food to class. It was a funny and YUMMY project!

Here are some pictures of the presentations:
